So, transfers...Becks has looked into van or minibus hire which works out at around £30 each for the week plus petrol. That would mean either someone doing a few trips back and forth or unpacking bikes at the airport and someone driving all the luggage while everyone else rides.
Becks has also enquired about transfers with bikes with a couple of companies so we will see what comes back from them.
I've also asked the owner for advice so he is looking into it for me.

I'd go for a transfer with bikes if we can - our flight doesn't arrive until 1920.

It looks like people coming from Pisa can get a bus into Lucca, which leaves just a few km to walk to the villa.

ReplyDeleteHello Folks, I haven't yet sccessfully found a door to door transfer company that can transport almost 20 people + bikes.... I'll carry on searching around today but if anyone has any leads please can you post on here.
ReplyDeleteUsing the public bus would be the most straight forward but not sure I fancy walking a couple of km with the bike bag!!
