So that was that. It's all over. I hope everyone had a good trip.
It was tricky at times with so many people and a few issues with money and routes but I think overall it was a success. Nice scenery, sunshine, great food, lots of laughs and some good riding once we got the hang of the dodgy maps and roads to nowhere. We enjoyed oursleves anyway.
Big thanks to Becks for sorting out the transfers and help with cooking, to Miles, Charlie, Mike and others for planning routes, Bobby and Jerry for the barbeque and to everyone else for making it a great trip. Also thanks so much for the cycle shirt, its ace and I cant wait for a sunny day to wear it.
I've set up a group on flickr for all the photos: www.flickr.com/groups/lucca-trip-2009/
Any good wheelers ones can also go in the wheelers group: www.flickr.com/groups/manchester-wheelers/
There were a few tools and energy bars left over so if you want to claim them let me know.
Otherwise, I think thats it until next year. Look forward to seeing all the photos.

Tuscany Routes (two long rides)
Two 100 odd miles rides visiting some interesting looking places.
To Carrara, Alpuana Alps, The Marble Mountain. Mountain of marble which looks like snow covered peaks. See Photos
To Monte Cimone, cold war installation inside a mountain, access restricted during cold war. Highest mountain in north Appenines. Monte Cimone

and here's a few more routes increasing in hardnesss:

That mountain in the middle is quite big! 1200m to the top of the pass on that last ride, click on show in the coner and you can see the ride profile - it's looks so wrong!
Simon's also printed out a couple of routes that he's going to laminate for use as crib cards.
You can add any more route ideas in comments below.

9 days to go!
I think we are ready to go now (accomodation, transport and transfers all sorted), I can't wait.
Can y'all try and get some idea of routes, places you would like to go etc. There are a lot of us going and too many for someone to organise so if we have plenty of ideas it will make plans each night for the following day easier.
See you there!
